Smile For a Lifetime
Sanborn Orthodontics is proud to partner with the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation. Our mutual goal is to change lives through orthodontics and impact our communities in a positive way. A smile can inspire hope, increase self confidence, and change a community.
What is the Smile for a Lifetime Foundation?
Founded as a charitable non-profit organization, the Smile for a Life foundation is an orthodontic organization dedicated to providing care to individuals who otherwise may not receive treatment. Launched in 2008, the foundation has grown to over 85 orthodontic partners across the United States. With local chapters, each having its own Board of Directors to determine awards, the foundation is community focused and locally based. The Foundation sponsors the orthodontic care of hundreds of patients each year and hass participating orthodontists throughout the US. If you, or someone you know, is deserving and could benefit from the gift of a smile, please fill out the application.
Our Mission
At Smile for a Lifetime Foundation it is our mission to create self confidence, inspire hope, and change the lives of children in our community in a dramatic way. The gift of a smile can do all this for a deserving, underserved individual who, in turn, can use this gift to better themselves and our community. Words from Dr. Sanborn: "Our Mission Statement above sums up everything we are trying to do with our foundation, and it is our way of giving back to the community that has been so gracious to us! It is our goal every year to give 12 orthodontic scholarships to the children in our local community to help create self-confidence, inspire hope, and change their lives in a dramatic way. It is our hope that this gift of a smile will, in turn, allow them to better themselves and our local community."
