Krystal Pittman

Krystal is our office manager and also works as our financial coordinator.  She joined our team in September 2009. Our patients can count on her to take care of all their financial and insurance needs. You can always direct any and all questions you might have about your bills or payments to Krystal.  She loves helping people to make having a new smile financially possible.  Her favorite part of working here is seeing her patient's smile with renewed confidence when they get their braces off and knowing that she was able to be part of the process makes it much more rewarding! She also enjoys working for Dr. Sanborn because he sets high standards for the office to better serve our patients. Krystal is from Beaufort, NC. Her and her husband, Will, have two golden retrievers, Skipper and Sandy.

Paden Hines

Paden is one of our chairside orthodontic assistants. She joined our team in September 2009. She enjoys working with our patients on a regular basis and creating friendships while watching their smiles improve. She appreciates Dr. Sanborn's drive and motivation to do whatever it takes to make his patients happy. Paden is from Morehead City. She is married to Rod and has three sons, Josh, Zach and Aaron. She also has two puppies, Bud and Moose. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, going to the movies and the beach, where she really enjoys to surf!

Lori Beth Sanborn

Lori Beth is Dr. Sanborn's wife and is one of our treatment coordinators and marketing manager. She enjoys getting to know the patients and parents within our practice as well as working collaboratively with her husband, Dr. Sanborn, to pursue their dream of providing excellent orthodontic treatment. Lori Beth especially enjoys working in the exciting, up-beat, patient-friendly environment present at our office. Lori Beth graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she met Dr. Sanborn, with degrees in Nutrition and Masters of Accounting.  She was born and raised in Morehead City, NC and returned back home in 2009.  She loves to spend time with her family, friends, and cats, and enjoys being a mom, hitting the beach, volunteering at church and exercising in her free time.

Erin Johnson

Erin is one of our chairside orthodontic assistants and joined our team in September, 2010.  She appreciates working in our office because she is able to see the process of transforming smiles from start to finish. Her favorite part of being an assistant is building rapport with patients and seeing the results of a flawless new smile. Erin is from Davis, NC.  Her husband's name is Colby and she has a son, Colton.  She enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping and boating.

Ciara Bissell

Ciara is one of our chairside orthodontic assistants and joined our team in March 2011.  She enjoys seeing our patients' gratification at the end of treatment because it makes her job very rewarding. Her favorite thing about working here is the wonderful staff and the friendly, family-oriented environment at Sanborn Orthodontics.  Ciara enjoys spending her free time with her family and her son, Kane.

Carla Starnes

Carla is our treatment coordinator and is one of the first people our patients meet with to go over their treatment plan and finances.  She recently joined our team in March 2011.  Ever since, she has felt blessed to have a job that is so rewarding.  She loves watching our young patients grow into young adults with beautiful smiles. She also enjoys meeting new people and making new friends every day.  Carla loves spending time with her daughter, Caitlyn and husband Jeffrey.
